It’s sad to say summer has come to an end, but that means fall is underway! And there is nothing more beautiful than upstate New York in the fall. Enjoy the changing color of leaves, crisp fall air, pumpkin spice everything, fall festivals and so much more!

Whether you live in NY or are planning to visit, there a plenty of great fall activities for everyone! So pack up the camper and make sure you check out some of the fun the wonderful state of New York has to offer us this fall!

There’s are so many awesome places to camp and enjoy the fall foliage. Here are a few of our favorite scenic campgrounds:

Allegany State Park:

With 65,000 acres, Allegany State Park is the perfect park to enjoy the gorgeous colors of the fall months. Lakes, ponds, and miles of trails, beckon outdoor lovers for hiking, biking, nature walks, fishing, paddling, and more.  Choose from tent and trailer sites, cabins, and cottages!

Letchworth State Park

Otherwise known as the Grand Canyon of the North, it is home to vast amounts of gorgeous fall foliage, waterfalls, wildlife, scenic views and more! Visit the new Humphrey Nature Center or explore the gorge trails. There is camping for all whether it be a RV, tent or cabin there is plenty offered.

Watkins Glen State Park

Fall in love with the NY Finger Lake in fall colors. Watkins Glen State Park, is located on Seneca Lake and is home to 19 waterfalls and an array of wooded campsites. Enjoy walks, trails, fishing, boat rentals and so much more! Near by you will also find the New York State Wine and Brewery trails.

Moreau Lake State Park

Nestled in the foothills of the Adirondacks, hike or bike on the 27 miles of trails. Enjoy paddling and fishing on the scenic waters of the park’s beautiful lake or the Hudson River.

Taconic State Park

Green Lakes State Park
